Meet the people behind the CUP

Dr. Simon Stael
Coordinator of CUP
Simon studies protease targets using advanced proteomics, bioimaging, and chemical genetics, including in tissue-wounding systems he has established.

Anna Linusson
CUP PI
Anna integrates computational chemistry, virtual screening, and medicinal chemistry to develop high-precision modulators of proteolysis.

Per-Olof Syrén
CUP PI
Per-Olof combines expertise in organic chemistry, enzyme mechanisms, molecular simulations, and protein engineering to understand and redesign enzymes for biotechnology and green chemistry applications.

Peter Bozhkov
CUP PI
Peter studies proteolysis across kingdoms of life, combining expertise in cell biology, development, and biochemistry. His current research focuses on proteolysis in biomolecular condensates and stress granules.

Elena A. Minina
CUP PI
Alyona combines expertise in cell biology, autophagy, and proteolysis with the development of innovative bioimaging tools for studying cellular and organismal phenotypes.
